Reasons from S**************************
Having excelled in academics throughout high school, I enrolled in studies at the Brilliant College Peshawar and graduated with first division. For undergraduate studies, I started my bachelor’s degree program “Doctor of physical therapy” at the Abasyn University Peshawar in 2017. My academic performance has always been good as I always kept my record above 75% which is evident from my CGPA of 3.49 on a scale of 4.0. I am a registered physical Therapist with PPTA since Feb 2023 and am now a member of the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (Membership No. K8593). I have significant research experience at the undergraduate level and worked under several experienced researchers who don’t only teach about research but also enhanced my understanding of the art of carrying out research. Furthermore, after graduation, I joined an internship in the physiotherapy department of RMI Hospital Peshawar which is the largest state-of-art tertiary care hospital in Pakistan besides that I was exposed to many creative activities and projects which gave me a lot regarding leadership, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. I became an active physiotherapist intern at the department I attended their workshops every week which were practical skill-based and I have taken part in most of their Hands on practice activities like the Mulligan approach, Teamwork, etc. Besides that I have worked on various research projects, likewise, I Plan to work on my research proposal titled; “Blood flow Restriction exercises vs traditional exercises in Post-operative ACL patients: A Randomized controlled trial. In contrast, I have been working on various research projects which will be published soon in good quality journals. Currently, I am working on my research projects which are related to musculoskeletal (low back pain) and sports rehabilitation.
I am a Certified Climate Restoration Advocate by working with the Foundation for Climate Restoration on different projects to awareness of the drastic effects and challenges of climate change globally and how to minimize these effects. I have facilitated Community pieces of training on “Gender and inclusion” for 1-year project with Awaz-2 program supported by the British Council. I am a volunteer at Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan since 2018, which is a non-profitable organization in our country that work for needy people like orphan children. I have participated in three months of leadership training and a climate change drive organized on Sept 2021 in Upper Pakistan, as a volunteer of AID International organization.
Almost all the areas need improvement and stability. This is where many students of our country used to study abroad to sharpen their abilities as well as they learn more from the environment of the country upon return can contribute effectively in the uplifting and development of these respective sectors. Likewise, I am very determined to enhance my intellectual abilities, broadening my views, improve my communication skills, and to broaden my knowledge related to sports Medicine. Because I think it builds confidence and international communication skills and it also creates the positive and friendly environment at the international level. I believe that through the “Master’s in Sports Medicine” from Dalian University, I will be able to enhance my skills and participate in research on a broader spectrum. I believe that with my good educational background and enthusiasm for research and academic career. My research experience at the undergraduate level, academic excellence, command over the English Language, and physiotherapy hand on practice experience at a renowned hospital give me an edge over the other applicants. I kindly request to be consider for the Master’s program via Scholarship for the 2023 academic year.
